Hospitality recruitment teams rely on four main channels for finding the right candidates for their open positions – Careers Sites (95%), Professional Social Networks (89%), Job Aggregators (78%) and Employee Referrals (66%).
More than half (54%) of in-house recruitment teams within Hospitality are using their hiring systems such as ATS to address the sector sourcing challenges, which if utilised effectively could help to build talent pools.

When we look at how Hospitality recruitment teams are succeeding with talent attraction, the Sourcing Quadrant shows a clear trend with several channels that can be relied upon for finding quality candidates.
Hospitality talent acquisition teams are turning to Careers Sites as their main Sourcing Channel and while it provides both quality and quantity of candidates, other channels perform better for this sector. Professional Social Networks are the best source for quality and quantity, closely followed by Agencies and Employee Referrals.

62% of respondents in this sector expect no change in hiring over the next 12 months, and 28% of respondents expect an increase in the hire levels, though only 14% have a corresponding increase in the recruitment marketing budgets. 24% of respondents anticipate a decrease in marketing budgets, which is likely to make it more difficult to successfully attract more skilled candidates.
