The RecFest Team smashed it out of the park at this year’s event in Knebworth and even managed to bring the weather to welcome just over 4,000 guests from the world of recruitment.
The Eploy team spoke to hundreds of TA professionals and In-House Recruiters throughout the day and into the evening. Thanks to everyone who stopped by Eploy’s stand for an applicant tracking system lowdown, a freshly squeezed OJ, pretzels and our merch of cleverly planned sunnies and hats. Come 1.15 pm, the hats and sunglasses were trending around Knebworth and later, when Judge Jules took to the decks.
Words of wisdom reap great benefits
The star of our show was Zoltar, the fortune-telling character from the Tom Hanks movie Big (for
those old enough to remember the late 80s!).
Zoltar was telling fortunes and offering wise words all day to Recfesters. One lucky person was selected at random from the QR code fortune cards. Well done to winner Kerry Byrne from EDF Energy on bagging the Amazon voucher. Did you see that coming?
Disrupt Stage
On the Disrupt Stage at 2.45 pm, Chris Bogh, CTO at Eploy and Sam Jackson, Head of Shared Services at Mencap, took to the stage to share thoughts and experiences to continually unlock recruitment technology efficiencies with applicant tracking systems and recruitment CRM. Thanks to Chad Sowash and Joel Cheesman for hosting the session.
