With the Government's introduction of E10, a low carbon renewable transport fuel, to UK vehicles, Vivergo Fuels will re-open their plant and start manufacturing bioethanol in early 2022.
As one of Europe's biggest bioethanol producers and the UK's single largest animal feed supplier, Vivergo Fuels produce two high-value commodities that the UK would have previously imported.
The plant re-opening was the catalyst for building a Vivergo talent community. Paula Reading, Recruitment Business Partner, joined the company with a plan to formalise recruitment into a trackable, automated process in an ambitious timescale.
The business required a quickly deployable and complete e-recruitment solution that could support the company immediately in preparation for the production 'switch-on'. Working with Eploy, Paula implemented Eploy's Quick Launch recruitment & ATS solution within just two weeks!
Eploy Quick Launch is ideal for SME's who need a complete ATS in place quickly. This incremental implementation approach is a perfect choice if you need a recruitment system speedily and want to configure and adapt the solution as you grow. What's more, all the essential features you will need for a typical recruitment process are available from the start – enabling you to get up and running in just a few days.
Vivergo set up their users to raise vacancies that pass into the appropriate authorisation and recruitment workflows. Their jobs now post directly to their preferred job boards, including Indeed, where candidates can apply directly using Indeed Apply.
Eploy supports Vivergo's proactive recruitment drive for the immediate need and long term to build a talent community that will often fulfil niche and highly skilled roles. Since day one of the launch, talent groups are being encouraged to sign up to the Vivergo talent community to hear about opportunities as they arise. Eploy is then used to pinpoint 'warmed up' talent that have engaged with the Vivergo brand and culture via the talent community. A simple onboarding process to collect new starter information and manage the offer acceptance and contracts process has been set-up and this has been further extended to create an external succession plan with 13 people ready to be offered roles when there are vacancies.
Since Go-Live of Eploy, Vivergo Fuels has seen ongoing success with the organisation growing from 39 employees to 111 employees in the space of 6 months with 1 Recruitment Business Partner. They have created Assessment Centres for a vacancy requiring multiple hires and implemented an engaging candidate journey and feedback process. Dashboards have been set-up within Eploy to define measures of success and track and improve the processes.
Paula Reading, Recruitment Business Partner at Vivergo commented "I am delighted with the functionality that Eploy Quick Launch provides. The set-up process was super simple, and we were live with our recruitment activity in just a few days. From me starting in my new role to going live with Eploy took just over two weeks. The Eploy Implementation lead was supportive to getting us up and running and the training and consultation support was intuitive and available as we needed it. I didn't think it would be possible to have a system to support our recruitment strategy and candidate journey delivered in such a short timescale – but it was.
"It's going to be a busy period for the Vivergo Fuels Recruitment Team, with plenty of opportunities in both office support based and operational roles. I'm hoping to attract a diverse workforce who can represent our local community and have the foundation on which to build our recruitment capability."
Chris Bogh, CTO at Eploy said "We are looking forward to our ongoing partnership with Vivergo Fuels as they continue with their recruitment journey. Eploy Quick Launch quashes the myth that modern, flexible talent acquisition technology takes months to implement. Vivergo Fuels demonstrate precisely what an SME can achieve in just a few days."
