Eploy, the enterprise cloud E-Recruitment software provider, is proud to have worked with Travelodge, one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing hotel chains, on the launch of improved E-Recruitment functionality for the new Travelodge careers site and candidate portal.
In February, Travelodge announced that they would open 15 new hotels, creating 400 new jobs in 2015 and have also identified potential for more than 150 further hotels across the UK, with the new hotels expected to support the creation of a further 3000 new jobs.
To help manage the recruitment growth, Eploy worked closely with Travelodge and their creative digital agency, Pink Squid. It was important that the new online recruitment features could be seamlessly integrated into the Travelodge careers site, as well as enable:
- Access via smartphones and tablets for all online recruitment tasks
- Role-specific application processes and online testing – giving candidates real-time feedback as they progress their application
- Full integration with a third party psychometric testing provider for specific roles
- The collection of compliance-related documentation and details
- Consistent communication of the Travelodge employer brand through all stages of the recruitment journey
The candidate portal is a connected element of the Eploy E-recruitment platform - which provides Travelodge with access to Eploy’s cloud-based Applicant Tracking, Recruitment CRM & Talent Pool Management software. The system is entirely browser based and, like the Travelodge careers site, fully accessible through a browser on all smart devices.
Travelodge have almost 8000 team members across the UK and operate over 500 hotels. https://www.travelodge.co.uk/careers/
“The new Travelodge careers site is a fantastic example of the combination of great design with modern E-Recruitment functionality”, said Chris Bogh, Eploy’s Chief Technology Officer. “At Eploy, we’re really proud to have worked with Travelodge and their creative design agency, Pink Squid, on the successful launch of the new site. Many careers sites still have a noticeable employer branding ‘drop-off’ between the careers content and the core recruitment functionality such as the online application process – typically when a legacy Applicant Tracking System cannot cope with modern web design patterns. The Travelodge candidate experience, on the other hand, is completely seamless.”
