One of the UK's longest-established engineering, energy and healthcare recruitment companies has future-proofed its database containing details of 350,000 candidates after moving over to Eploy's online recruitment software system.
Nuparc Ltd, which has offices across the UK and in Ireland, selected Eploy to migrate its entire database after a stringent and rigorous selection procedure with eight shortlisted companies.
Darren Day, Director of Recruitment Services for Nuparc, said the 36-year-old company had been operating on the EZ Access system, but decided to move to one that was web-enabled, thereby aiding staff to work more flexibly and effectively.
It engaged Eploy to provide its bespoke system and carry out the detailed project management of the complex migration.
"It was older technology and several of the processes undertaken by the recruitment consultants were manual and time consuming," explained Darren, "whereas new technology allowed for greater CV parsing technology, automation, website and job board connectivity, searching and reporting."
"We had to give our consultants the best software available to us to allow them to compete effectively in the tough recruitment market."
He said "Eploy demonstrated the expertise that was required to migrate such a large database that would allow it to power all of Nuparc's complex recruitment requirements and talent pool."
"The service was superb," said Darren. "The support we received from staff at Eploy was second to none from beginning to end and the training for our employees was timed at just the right time so they could hit the ground running when the system went live."
Web connectivity was a crucial consideration for moving over to Eploy, explained Darren.
"One factor in choosing Eploy was its ability to do this and to allow us to have three divisions working off the same core system, with branding and features that mirror Nuparc's main website," he added.
Chris Bogh, Technical Director at Eploy, said his team proved its resourcefulness and capability on what was a relatively large migration project that had to be completed in a very tight timeframe. He said the project was also unusual because Nuparc operates three different websites from a single core system. Each site has its own brand and subset of vacancies, which are all powered by Eploy. "There were immense time pressures on this project, but our migration team are more than capable of handling databases and associated files of this size and migrated it quickly and painlessly," explained Chris.
"It was well scoped and planned down to the finest detail to ensure nothing went wrong."
